There is one thing the world needs today: Hope. With uplifting tunes, from original music in the jazz, blues, and contemporary style, and classical repertoire by Beethoven, Schumann, and Schubert, composer, pianist, lyricist, and singer Kylie Fonacier sings and performs on piano from home in “Here’s to Us All: Songs of Hope” as a way of bringing and spreading joy—and yes—hope to all who need it most during these ongoing strange and difficult times in the performing arts and around the world.

Kylie Fonacier is a Vancouver-based, Filipino-Canadian composer, lyricist, conductor, singer and pianist. From original musical theatre-esque and instrumental works to performing original or favorite music, be it singing or on the piano, her aim is to take listeners on a vast array of journeys that are often thought-provoking and emotionally driven with an occasional mix of humor and heart.
Kylie has won awards for her music, most recently placing one of three winners in SongSLAM 2020 on November 28, 2020, the VAM Young Composers’ Competition for the VAM Symphony Orchestra in March 2020, and Sing Me a Song, BC in 2014. She most recently completed composing music for an upcoming all-new musical theatre production with lyrics written by a Vancouver playwright.
