Carlos Savall Guardiola finished his Superior Studies in 2015 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música “Oscar Esplá” de Alicante, Spain, obtaining the maximum qualifications on his Final Project, guided by his former professor Jose Franch Ballester.

He has received Master Classes with Andreas Sunden, Enrique Pérez, Josep Fuster, Eduardo Raimundo, Miguel Espejo, Joan Enric Lluna, Venancio Rius, Eddy Vanoosthuyse, Miguel Civera, Luis Miguel Méndez and Rafael Albert.

Carlos started his musical studies at the age of 9 at the School of Music “José Seguí” de Callosa d’en Sarrià. At the age of 13, he moved into Conservatory Professional of Benidorm, with máximum qualifications in his auditions, with professor Raul Mahiques. In 2011 he finished his Intermediate Degree studies at the Conservatory Professional of Valencia, with Roberto Pérez, entering the Conservatorio Superior de Música Oscar Esplá of Alicante, starting with Gonzalo Berná Pic, and graduating in the year 2015 with Jose Franch-Ballester.

He has played and collaborated with a large list of orchestras and ensembles like Orquesta Filharmonica of the University of Alicante, Youth Orchestra of Valencia, Symphonic Wind Band of Valencia, Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra of the Conservatorio Superior de Musica Oscar Esplá of Alicante, Symphonic Orchestra of Alicante, Symphonic Orchestra of Elche, Symphonic Wind Band of Alicante, UBC Symphony Orchestra and UBC Symphonic Wind Ensemble.

Carlos has completed his Masters Degree in Clarinet Performance at the University of British Columbia with professor Jose Franch-Ballester, and he has started his Doctor in Music Arts program while he continues teaching clarinet in Vancouver.
