Opera Opulenza presents “Seasons of Love”, a concert celebrating love in all its joys and struggles. From Musetta’s coquettish waltz in “La Bohème” to Pamina’s heartrending lament in “The Magic Flute”, these jewels of the repertoire remind us that nothing lasts forever, and the heart changes like the seasons.
“Seasons of Love” is our offering to our friends at the VSO, in hopes of a vibrant return to music and friendship, post-pandemic.

Opera Opulenza is a Vancouver-based opera company dedicated to community engagement and providing singers with opportunities to sing in concerts, fully-staged operas, and opera scenes.
In January 2019, Opera Opulenza joined chART: Public Art and Emily Carr University of Art + Design in the fieldhouse at Oak Park – an initiative made possible by the Vancouver Park Board. This opportunity has given Opera Opulenza the ability to broaden their programming to include a wide range of community engagement events and activities.
They bring opera to the community by way of free concerts, workshops, opera screenings, masterclasses, a community opera chorus, and more! They work to bring people together, help people build confidence through singing and movement, to break social isolation, be inclusive and accessible for all, and to spark creativity.
