We are pleased to participate in this year’s Day of Music with two selections.
THE GIRL FROM IPANEMA is one of the most-recorded songs of all time. Antonio Carlos Jobim composed the song in 1962. Our arrangement features Liam Rogers on the tenor saxophone.
Our second selection is SPAIN, composed in 1971 by Chick Corea. Our performance features the opening piano introduction by Graydon Baker and trumpet solos by Chloe Taylor and Gabriel Rhone.
